Senior Analytics Associate, Data Engineering

I have been with the Saatchi and Saatchi Wellness Analytics team since 2015 within the Data Engineering group.

Before joining SSW, I spent four years teaching English in Vietnam. During this time, I managed to teach myself programming and project management through a number of video game projects and collaborations. Data Scientist, SSW UK

After graduating with a BSc in Neuroscience in 2016, I joined the Saatchi and Saatchi Wellness client services team in London. This was a perfect fit for me as I’ve always been interested in understanding human behaviour and it  allowed me to harness both my scientific background and creative nature. During my 3 years in the client services team I was exposed to working on market research projects across multiple clients and disease areas.

Working on these projects allowed me to the explore the ability of leveraging data to draw meaningful insights. This sparked my interest in working with data, so I took  advantage of any free Python courses I could find online and eventually took the leap and enrolled onto a data science bootcamp in San Francisco in 2019. During the duration of the course I built 5 machine learning projects using real-world data and expanded my knowledge of python, java and SQL.

Having graduated from the course in I now work as a data scientist as part of our integrated strategy and engagement team in London. Our team provide data driven recommendations to clients to build, launch and grow their brands.
